BBC acquires four-part German drama series based on non-fiction book
The Black Forest Murders is based on the non-fiction book SOKO Erle and follows the investigation into the murders of two young women in southern Germany. The series will stream on BBC iPlayer and air on BBC Four later this year.
Protection debuts in the UK on ITV this week
Protection, a new ITV drama that offers a glimpse into the world of witness protection, premieres on March 16. Starring Siobhan Finneran and Katherine Kelly, the show first appeared in the US on BritBox.
True-life crime drama The Hack will appear on ITV later this year
The seven-part series stars David Tennant, and Toby Jones, who play two key figures in the phone hacking scandal. The series is currently in post-production having filmed during 2024. The Hack will air on ITV and STV in the UK and on Stan in Australia.
