Psychological drama Gone is coming to UK screens, says ITV
ITV has unveiled an intriguing new psychological thriller. Entitled Gone, the six-episode drama will feature Eve Myles and David Morrissey. Miles plays a police detective investigating a local school headmaster, who is a suspect in his wife’s disappearance.
New British detective drama set in Spain to debut in 2026
Death in Benidorm, a British detective drama set to premiere on the UK’s Channel 5, is about a former UK detective who starts a new life running a quiet bar in Benidorm, Spain. But he finds himself pulled back into detective work—with his barmaid as a partner. John Hannah and Carolina Bécquer will star.
Winter news heats up at ITV
ITV has commissioned a six-part police procedural, Winter, featuring a forensic pathologist played by Richard Armitage whose brilliant, unconventional approach helps the police solve complex murder cases. He’s assisted by DI Lauren Bell, played by Annabel Scholey, a meticulous, no-nonsense detective. The new drama seems based on the successful French series, Balthazar.
