Kin resurrected for third series; filming begins this summer
Irish crime drama Kin will begin filming its third series this summer, more than three years after Series 2 ended. According to The Irish Sun, RTE and the BBC have combined to bring Kin back. Season three will begin filming in Dublin this July. There’ll be six episodes made, and it will air on RTE the following spring.
UK crime drama This City is Ours finally arrives on U.S. outlets in March
Variety reported AMC Networks has acquired U.S. rights to U.K. crime drama “This City Is Ours.” The series will debut in March on AMC+. The story about a powerful crime family has been sold to networks in more than a dozen other countries and was the BBC’s most-watched new drama in 2025.
Silent Witness will celebrate the Big 3-0 when it returns next year
The show’s executives announced via Instagram that the long-time British crime drama will return for a 30th season. Final details on the cast are being worked out but, according to reports, it will return to the Birmingham area.
