Kin resurrected for third series; filming begins this summer
Irish crime drama Kin will begin filming its third series this summer, more than three years after Series 2 ended. According to The Irish Sun, RTE and the BBC have combined to bring Kin back. Season three will begin filming in Dublin this July. There’ll be six episodes made, and it will air on RTE the following spring.
UK crime drama This City is Ours finally arrives on U.S. outlets in March
Variety reported AMC Networks has acquired U.S. rights to U.K. crime drama “This City Is Ours.” The series will debut in March on AMC+. The story about a powerful crime family has been sold to networks in more than a dozen other countries and was the BBC’s most-watched new drama in 2025.
Classic crime drama will look very different when it returns later this year
Classic British crime drama Dalziel and Pascoe will return to UK televisions later this year, but with a new look. Based on Reginald Hill’s novels, the updated drama will feature females in the title roles. Kerry Godliman will play veteran officer Dalziel and Nina Singh stars as her junior partner, Pascoe. Production begins in a few months.
