Crime families battle in new drama debuting on BBC in late April

Mint, which will be available beginning April 20, follows the daughter in a crime family who falls for a member of a rival family. According to the show synopsis, the Romeo-Juliet pairing changes their lives and the lives of their families. Emma Laird and Ben Coyle-Larner star as the young couple. The series also features Sam Riley, Laura Fraser, and Lindsay Duncan.

BBC announces second series of Inspector Lynley reboot

Leo Suter is back as DI Lynley and Sofia Barclay as DS Havers for the new season of four episodes, which will feature stories about a suspicious death at a horse racing estate, and a mysterious suicide on a military base. Filming has begun in Dublin, with episodes airing late in 2026 or early 2027.

Norwegian detective drama based on the Harry Hole novels debuts on Netflix

All nine episodes of Jo Nesbo’s Detective Hole, are now available on Netflix. The series is based on the novels of Norwegian mystery writer Jo Nesbo featuring Detective Harry Hole. Tobias Santelmann plays the title character as he tracks down a serial killer.
